Ingredients

  • 2 tsp creole seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 16 oz whole grain protein pasta
  • 2 can (15 oz) diced tomato with green chili
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 yellow bell pepperd, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 cups chicken broth (no sodium)
  • 3 oz non fat cream cheese
  • 3 green onions, sliced

Preperation instructions

  • Heat 1 Tbsp of olive oil in a pan over medium high heat. Add onion and garlic and cook 2-3 minutes or until fragrant.
  • Add bell pepper and ground turkey, season with creole seasoning and cook until meat is cooked through.
  • Add pasta, diced tomatos, chicken broth and stir to combine. Bring to a boil and let boil until pasta is tender, 7-8 minutes.
  • Add cream cheese and stir until melted, simmer until sauce is thickened slightly. Top with green onions and serve.
